I knew Kyle Bravo as the man behind the wonderful, amazingly great, can't say enough good things about it book - Making Stuff and Doing Things, released by Microcosm. This book really contains everything you can think of needing to know and a whole lot of stuff you haven't thought of. From getting rid of fruit flies to unstinking your socks, to building a bike cart and how gals can pee standing up - yes really!
It was recently brought to my attention that he is also a musician, and honestly, I wasn't surprised, but I was very curious to know what sort of musician. I've mentioned before that I dig the start/stop thing, no matter the style of music. Kyle Bravo's track Lowest Common Denominator is the sort of low-fi, minimal feel that I really think should be spread around more, mixed with the start/stop thing I love and a voice that claims your attention. This is the part of the song where I start to feel sorry for myself.
Kyle Bravo's new CD, Digging Myself Deeper, features 86 tracks, coming soon to Valiant Death.
