A two piece from Bloomington, Indiana made up of Chris and Hannah. General music descriptions thrown around like 'acoustic punk' and 'folk punk' do not do it justice. It's punk rock, no electrical outlets necessary. Self proclaimed anarchists, and holding firmly to their DIY ethics, how could I not fall for them? Chris plays guitar and sings, and Hannah also sings and plays violins. Sometimes, there is a harmonica and a tambourine involved. Two folks who played 11 countries in Europe, ON FOOT. Yup, hitchhiking across Europe and playing in each country they came across.
This band wormed it's way into my heart with the song Boy Meets Girl and for me it all comes down to these lyrics she asked me if I had a dream / I said of course I've got my dreams / Anyone without a dream / Must be dead if you ask me.
Valiant Death has collected the band's tracks from three split CDs released over time, and is reissuing all 13 tracks together as their first LP called, Collection One: Fairy Battle LP.
