Wax & Wane on Valiant Death

Based in Baltimore, Maryland, this band is slow and sweet and the kind of thing I could listen to all day and not get sick of. Valiant Death has described them as 'sleepy music' and I think that fits perfectly. Wax and Wane provide the perfect backdrop to daydreaming. The track Let Me Go [is it on the upcoming disc?] focuses on Ari' guitar and voice, and then on Oh Green, Oh! Wood, the guitar is still very much at the forefront, but the violin really stands out. If you were thinking hmmm, violin, you say? do not be alarmed, it's rad. There is also a slightly harder side of Wax & Wane, like on the track Hell is Here, there is a heavier feel, in that there are more instruments, or it at least sounds like there are, and the tone of the vocals is a little harsher than on other tracks, but it still has the overall Wax & Wane feel.
Valiant Death is releasing Wax & Wane's new disc Winter this June!
