Music We are beyond annoyed to have to tell you all that at the moment, we can't accept music on vinyl. One of us needs a pricey needle for an ancient record player, and the other needs a new record player. Hopefully sometime soon one of us will be equiped to accept vinyl, because we love it, until then you can mail us a CD/DVD or a tape, and of course, you can always send us links to where we can hear you online. Articles/Interviews We don't put a length requirement on articles submitted to us, because each piece is different, so use your judgement. If you need more direction than that email one of us and we'll try to muddle through it with you. Be sure to include photos and/or artwork to accompany your article or interview, and include a photo credit. We wont post images without knowing where the image came from. Most people do not randomly want to stumble on to their work without having given permissin to have their work used, and it's just not a very nice thing to do, so include photo credits. It should go without saying, but also please let us know who wrote the article. For interviews, if the interview does not cover background, include a bio of the band/person you're interviewing. Again, don't just rip it from their site, ask permission first. And, of course, include as much contact information as possible about you and whoever/whatever the piece is about. Ideas If you have an idea for an article or interview, or you'd like you/your band to be interviewed for Virus, get in touch. We're friendly, I swear. Feel free to whip up your contribution and send it on in without asking a million questions first. We're flexible about that sort of thing and we not only respect but we encourage, a wide range of writing styles on this site. We're always excited to add someone new to our little disfunctional family, so if you can commit to making ongoing contributions in the forms of a column or just regularly submitted content, get in touch!
