383 Stroker - Sometimes I see bands/singer-songwriters I have interviewed for a zine on television, I point and shout 'Woo! I interviewed them!', and that will no doubt happen with 383 Stroker.

Plowing Mud Forever - '...to make stuff that people will laugh at, dance to, have sex to, all that stuff. Just make people feel something, I guess...and to get shit off our chests' -Wally

Kicking Howard - Of the new ep, Kevin says, "I think has the potential to really break us…we are super proud of it and we did it all ourselves which was an opportunity that was brought to us by our bassist Nick Williams".

The Transit - This four piece from Ottawa are straight to the point good music. I could go on about it, but I think their music, in style, quality and general mood speaks for itself.

10 Star - Their newest songwriting efforts are underway as you read this (assuming, of course, you're reading this in early 2004). Alan on the process, 'we spent 3 days in pre-production at Fireball Studios in Marietta late last year and our tentative plans as of right now are to finish writing the record and hopefully get back into the studio in early spring and knock out the full-length.'

Hope for August - This four piece from Michigan are anything but a typical flash in the pan 'indie' band. Hope for August are three talented guys (Andrew Volk, Shane Pitmon and Andrew Carpenter), fronted by one very talented chica, Kristina Rubritius, with a voice so inspiring you'll be eager to hear all that you can.

Courtesy Blush - Courtesy Blush's new album sweet modern Fairy Tales is out March 12th, in the mean time, you can grab three songs from their site.
