200 North - Watching the World Die
![]() |
Da Core has called this album 'powerfully energetic, melodic hardcore', which is exactly what it is. I don't want to make comparisons because I really think you have to hear this. At least 6 out of the ten tracks here is single-worthy, especially Attica, Feltonic Prophecy and Better Days. I like the songwriting, too. [From Dead London]; I will not follow. Kill millions in our name. When it's all over, are we the better man? I hope we know what's best. [From Better Days]; I swore I'd never change. That I'd always be the same...Is this your idea of what we'd be?. [From Next Big Thing]; I'll chart your favorite slogans. Control me with a string. We've got the formula intact. Now watch us rule the scene. If this album is any indication of things to come from 200 North, they'll take over the indie hardcore charts and with their drive to push forward and their continuing success I don't see them slowing down any time soon. |
