Eight Track Mind - Don't Forget to Live

Eight Track Mind are a young four-piece hailing from California, with 2EPs, and a comp also in their disography, recording is nothing new to these guys. Don't Forget to Live is honest song writing, with nice meoldies, falling somewhere in the emo catagory (especially on Dream). 14 tracks here, with my favorite song on this album being Bucket of Nerves, a little faster than the other songs on the disk, but still very much in the same vein. Songs like Come to Bed, and In the End make me think Dinosaur Jr, but Roses has more guitar emphasis, still keeping with the emo vibe. This disc combining a classic emo vibe, with thoughtful lyrics and a slight lean to guitars with an indie rawk vibe, not just within songs on a small level, but on a larger level across the album.
