Three tracks on this one, and all are easily categorized as pop. The first track, On Holiday, reminds me of Third Eye Blind for some reason. No-one seems to agree with me on that one, but that's what I get from it, smooth melody with catchy lyrics. So High School is in the same vein, but much catchier with a cleaner melody. I really like the lyrics on this song, which are about girls who don't grow up (and break up with Kevin). I can honestly see this song playing on the radio. 63 is the last track on the CD, the song is the heaviest of the three, though still melodic, upbeat and just as catchy as the others. Don't let the word 'pop' decide for you, have a listen and decide for yourself. |
