Ruthann Springle - Be
|
This is my new favorite album, it is soft and melodic, but far from wimpy. Ten tracks, my favorite is the title track, the music behind it is perfect for the lyrics, there was something about this song I connected with, without really knowing why. I found the answer during an interview with her last night. I won't tell you what it's about here, you'll have to wait for the interview. The emotions on this album are universal enough to strike a chord with almost anyone, yet at the same time are profoundly personal. Here is a very small sample of her songwriting, from Run to You; when the sorrows and the heartaches are gathered one by one and the aching all the yearning is swallowed by the sun. |
