Brainscan #19

This issue focuses on Alex's experiences in July, 2002, while she was helping organize the Portland Zine Symposium, and teaching a workshop at a rock 'n' roll girls camp for girls at Mississippi Rising!
Her writing, as usual, is fantastic. When she writes about having 16 houseguests at the same time, all in town for the symposium and she makes me miss having a house crammed full of people.
She also writes about meeting pen pals, and a group conversation with some of her houseguests about how people choose to present themselves in their zines vs how they 'really' are. I sincerely hope they all make the comp zine they were talking about that night. I'd love to read it.
There's even more good writing in this issue than what I zeroed in on here. So get one.
