Wig Wam Bam is organized in sections; local shows, local releases, local zines, and local shops. What I really like about Wig Wam Bam is the style of writing, however interesting (or not) the event talked about was, the writing makes it worth reading about. Local shows include; The Sweatband, The Telephones and Spillway at Burt's Tiki Lounge, The Mindy Set (who I adore, by the way) at Atomic Cantina, Les Baton Rouge and The Dirty Novels, Mr Spectacular, Blue Bottle Flies, Simple and the Roxieharts at Elliot's. The one lone local release here is The Telephones' independent demo. One local zine review too of One Nation in Denial, and a review of a local business called Damaged Goods.
