This issue, as noted in the intro is about public and private lives. Also this issue, a mini version of Miranda’s 2003 English Lit. grad school thesis on Anne Sexton. Learning to be less serious, being overcome with panic, a wonderful piece on her mom being her alarm clock as a child, and a piece called ‘Hot for Teacher’. As usual, Miranda’s writing is nothing sort of fantastic and you’ll read the whole 60 pages in one sitting, and ignore the world outside these pages.
