It's all about cross promo, right? Like minded folks hooking up and spreading the word about their projects. If you like what we do and we like what you do, there are all kinds of ways for us to help each other out that are specific to new hookup. Last year, Virus did a huge piece on Cyclone Records, we got the word out about 10 artists on Cyclone, and each of those 10 artists (and Cyclone itself) spread the word about Virus. We did something similar shortly after that with Valiant Death Records as well. Indie hookups like these are great because we'll always keep in touch and be there for each other in the future. *The most obvious way of course would be for us to do an interview about your project for Virus, check out the submissions page for info. *You send us a box of your stickers, we send you a box of ours. Then we each stick them up around our own cities, and/or send them out with the mail. Fair and totally equal trade, so long as you promise to stick all the stickers we send you, just like we promise to stick all of your stickers. :) *Banner/link trading is a given, we're always up for that. |
